Our Services

PROJECT: LIFE’s services cover all aspects of the college admissions process. Our overall goal is to serve our clients' individual admissions needs. As such, we know that each applicant is unique and therefore, has specific consulting needs.

PROJECT: LIFE works with many so-called "nontraditional" clients who have unusual backgrounds or experiences, as well as with clients who are working to be admitted to selective schools. The majority of PROJECT: LIFE’s clients, however, are students eager for direction and searching for the right school to help them achieve their goals. No matter the GPA or class rank, each student receives customized and personalized advice.

While PROJECT: LIFE offers guidance through the entire college admissions process, we only wish to provide our insight and help where it is most wanted. PROJECT: LIFE offers both an hourly payment option and several fixed-fee services payment options for your convenience.

College Bound for the Learning Disabled

PROJECT: LIFE provides specialized services working with students and families helping to "Navigate the Special Education Maze". PROJECT: LIFE counselors help families to better understand What is a Learning Disability while deciphering differing definitions. For example, What is a developmental disability and how does that shape your child’s education and college experience? (ADHD, Auditory Processing, Speech, etc.). Why refer for a Special Education evaluation and what do test results mean specific to cognitive ability tests and the normal curve
and Standardized Achievement Tests? What is an IEP? How is it implemented and when is it terminated? What is a 504 Plan and do a student’s accommodations naturally follow him into different testing environments, college, and work?

PROJECT: LIFE helps make the necessary connection from the diagnosis to a working plan. Students gain a better understanding of their learning challenges while creating manageable—realistic-- solutions that focus on: time management, study skills, and personal advocacy, too.
